Einthem is an old-school, purely textually simulated, non-massively multiplayer online roleplaying game world that is under development by (and for) MiCRO DiCKS. Einthem will be for adults only, and thus may include depictions of situations of an intensely violent and/or sexual nature.
You will probably not be able to score an invite to play in Einthem proper while it is in alpha, but don't despair, because single-player text adventure versions of specific in-Einthem environments will be made available on this einthem.org website.
Furthermore, at the appropriate time — that is, not until, but as soon as, Einthem's multiplayer codebase has reached the public-type public release phase, which could take a while — the plan is for Einthem's source code to be released by MiCRO DiCKS as an open-source tool that you should be able to use to simulate Einthem's textual game worlds online with your own group of private players, optionally assuming the role of game master yourself, so that you can invent your own characters and settings on the fly to add to those that Einthem serves up predesigned for you.
In its multiplayer online form, at least, Einthem will be blockchain-enabled, and NOT for currency purposes, but rather for the purpose of exporting Einthem characters, with all their abilities and key magic items, from one game master's server to another, without incidentally generating infinitely resurrectable clone copies of that character. A blockchain can be used to prevent such cheat vectors in a decentralised way, which is important in the case of Einthem's planned open-source server because it means it can prevent 'the house' (i.e. whoever is in control of the game server, which could be anyone) from cheating, too.
Einthem will be a production of MiCRO DiCKS, which means that it will be a work of fiction. Due to the manpower available at MiCRO DiCKS being relatively thin, no promises can be made by MiCRO DiCKS as to the progress of any part of Einthem or the eventual accuracy of its intended release schedule.
Due to legislation recently introduced by the Government of Canada to punish people for thinking politically incorrect thoughts, coupled with new sexually repressive measures currently being shepherded through the Parliament of Canada to censor the entire open Internet 'for the children' (not to mention the intellectual worthlessness of a population in the habit of stirring up hostile surveillance mobs to inflict a chilling effect on any artist with an unconventional point of view), EVERY GAME AVAILABLE FROM THIS WEBSITE WILL BE LICENSED FOR USE OUTSIDE CANADA ONLY. Einthem is meant to be a realm where an artist can genuinely 'push the envelope' culturally. The country of Canada has become too risky a legal environment for that to happen in, and as a direct result of this, Canadian residents will simply not be served. In fact, if you're a Canadian playing a game in Einthem, you could be sued for any damages that result from this act of copyright infringement on your part.
